Carlos Efrain Licardie

Carlos Efrain Licardié, 84, of Edgewood, NM, passed away Monday, October 26, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Carlos was born on October 12, 1925 in San Pablo, Guatemala to Carlos and Romelia (Zamora) Licardié. He lived in Edgewood for the past twelve years having previously lived in Cleveland, OH. He was a member of the Los Altos Congress ion of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Carlos was a very loving husband, father, friend, till the end. Carlos is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Emma Licardié and Delfina Licardié; and one brother, Gerardo Licardié. He is survived by his wife Maria “Gloria” Licardié of Edgewood, NM; sons, Hector Licardié and his wife, Alma, of Albuquerque, NM, Julio Licardié and his wife, Rita, of Defiance, OH, and Hugo Licardié of Taos, NM; two daughters, Gloria Vargas and her husband, Luis, of Chicago, IL, and Lidia Lessard and her husband, Richard of Albuquerque, NM; one brother, Marco Antonio Licardié; and five grandchildren, Julio Rolando Licardié II, Carlos Rene Licardié, Vanessa P. Licardié, Laura G. Lessard and Lindsey P. Lessard. There will be a viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Friday, October 30, 2009 from 12:00 to 8:00PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 1:00PM at the Kingdom Hall in Moriarty, NM with Elder Roberto Gabbert officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty.
