Carolyn A. Turner

Carolyn A. Turner, 65, of Edgewood NM passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at her home with her loving husband, neighbors and friends beside her. Carolyn was born April 8, 1943 in Providence RI to Al and Angie (Silvia) Rego. Carolyn is survived by her parents; husband, Michael A.Turner of Edgewood NM; son Chris and Nancy Chaille of Douglas GA; daughter, Susan and John Cane of Jacksonville Fl; brother George and Flora Rego Naples Fl; sister Linda Whitehouse and David Hughes of Anderson, IN; and 5 grandchildren,; Stephen Cane, Phillip Cane, Alec Chaille, Brooklin Chaille and Jackson Chaille. Carolyn designed and built houses in Florida and Missouri as well as the couples retirement home in Sandia Airpark Estates in Edgewood NM. Carolyn loved art, aviation, airshows and fly-ins. She was a bird watcher and wildlife enthusiast. She worked with charities and civic organizations. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, February 7, 2009 at St Ambrose Parish 2801 Lincoln St. Anderson IN. 46016. Carolyn brought great joy to my life as well as to those who knew her. She is the love of my life, the rock upon which I stand and the wind beneath my wings. I am so proud of my bride of 23 wonderful years. I love her and miss her so! Michael A.
