John Robert Hunt

John Robert "Bob" Hunt, born August 21, 1939, died Sunday, January 18, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM, after a long and courageous battle with a rare form of blood cancer. Born in Detroit MI, he attended Berkley and Royal Oak Kimball High Schools. He then worked nationwide, permitting leases for gas and oil companies and also for the Zapata, TX Sheriff's Department for many years. He leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his wife, Dea A. Hunt, of Tijeras, NM; a brother, Richard D. Hunt (Ruth) of Bellingham, WA; a sister Kathryn L. Stephens of San Antonio, TX. In Bellingham, WA, nephews Donald and J. Edward Hunt and niece Annette Hunt Jensen (Richard), of Bellingham, WA, their children, Jake, Brock, and Kali Jensen; In Canyon Lake, TX, Blanca R. Rodriguez (Robert) and son, "Bobby"; and Donna R. Olejniczak of San Antonio, TX, and daughter Kathy Lorentz, of Wyandotte, MI. They loved their uncle/great-uncle and he will be dearly missed by them. At his request, he has been cremated and there will be no services.
