Dulcinea "Candy" Baca

Dulcinea “Candy” Baca, 80, of Mountainair, NM passed away on Monday, October 12, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Candy was born in Willard, NM on April 22, 1929 to Alberto and Eloisa (Luna) Baca. She was a life time resident of Mountainair and Willard, NM. She married Edward Ray Jojola and raised three children. Candy is preceded in death by her parents, Alberto and Eloisa Baca; and son, Gregory Jojola. She is survived by her husband, Ed “Shirpoyo” Jojola of Mountainair, NM; son, Lloyd Jojola of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Sheila Jojola and Anthony Gatewood of Isleta Pueblo, NM; grandchildren, Ashley Marie Zuni and Lane Gregory Gatewood; pets, Ziggie & Biscuit; brother, Lawrence Baca; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00PM on Friday, October 16, 2009 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Willard, NM. The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Willard, NM with Fr. Vincent Nicosia officiating. The burial will follow at El Rosario Catholic Cemetery in Willard, NM.
