Ronald O. Ensminger

Ronald “Ron” O. Ensminger, 66, of Moriarty, NM, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009. Ron was born April 18, 1943 in Abilene, TX to Jeff and Betty (Street) Ensminger. Ron grew up in McIntosh and Estancia, NM. He graduated from Estancia High School in 1961. He married Pat Williams on November 14th, 1964. He attended and graduated from UNM/Highlands University. He worked at the NM State Land Office, was a Chevron Dealer and Assistant Fire Chief. He was one of the Charter Members of the Moriarty Lions Club. Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Pat Ensminger of Moriarty, NM; son, Greg Ensminger of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Sandra Reed or Moriarty, NM; brother, James F. Ensminger III; sister, Zada Beth Barnes; and six grandchildren, Amber Patterson, Brittany Patterson, Cassandra Reed, Daniel Reed, Ronnie Ensminger, and Mila Ensminger. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary. Funeral Service will be at 1:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Mike Ensminger officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Lions Club of Moriarty. NM. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Collage Fund for his grandchildren in the name of Ronald O. Ensminger at Wells Fargo Bank in Moriarty, NM.
