Frederick Lueras

Frederick “Fred” Lueras, 52, of Mountainair, NM, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at home with his loving family beside him. Frederick was born May 29, 1953 in Mountainair to Margarito and Demecia (Lopez) Lueras. He proudly served his country as a Marine in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as an automotive mechanic. He belonged to the Saint Alice Catholic Parish, and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Frederick is survived by his sons, David Lueras, and Melissa Gonzales, and Dimas Carlos Lueras, and Mary Katherine Baca; daughter Sonya and her husband Lonnie Greene; sisters, Diana and her husband Edward Padilla, Stella Archuleta and Albino Lopez, Linda Medina and Tom McCarty, and Alice Paiz; four grandchildren, Santiago Lueras, Dylan Greene, Wyatt Greene, and Anthony Padilla; special friend and former spouse, Patsy Lueras; and many nieces and nephews. All that knew and loved him will miss Frederick. There will be a Rosary recited for Frederick on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. Father Ron Stone will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Albino Lopez, Edward V. Padilla, Jake Lueras, Michael Torres, Edward Padilla, Andrew Medina, Robert Lucero, James Archuleta, Jesse Lueras, Casey Lueras, Lonnie Greene, and Lawrence Garcia. Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Greene, Wyatt Greene, Anthony Padilla, and Santiago Lueras. Interment will follow at the Mountainair Catholic Cemetery in Mountainair, NM.
