Mona Sue Ortiz

Mona Sue Ortiz, 70, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at her home with her loving family beside her. Mona was born on January 18, 1938 to John Joseph and Mabel (LeeWard) LaBrier in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mona married Mike Ortiz on December 12 1982 in Juarez, Mexico and was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Club. Mona was preceded in death by her parents; brother, John LaBrier Jr; sisters, Virginia and Mary; and son, Gordon Anglin. She is survived by her husband, Mike Ortiz of Moriarty, NM; son, David Anglin of Moriarty, NM; daughters, Tonia Jones of Pagosa Springs, CO; Rhonda Anglin of Moriarty, NM; Barbara Lewis and husband Burl of Los Lunas, NM; brothers, Virgil LaBrier; Fred LaBrier; sisters, Mabel LaBrier; Shirley Wilkerson; Betty Shaw; Margie Halleen; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 10:00AM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Chaplin Paul Gleason will be officiating.
