Walter Lee Miller

Walter Lee Miller, 80, of Bosque Farms, NM went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM with his loving family beside him. Walter was born July 25, 1925 in Grimes,OK to Walter Lee Sr., and Grace (Wood) Miller. He came to New Mexico with his parents, settling south of Mountainair, NM in 1928. In 1943 they moved to Albuquerque, NM. At the age of 18, he gave his life to Jesus, and was baptized in the Assembly of God Church. On February 12, 1955, he married Eunice Mary Krim who preceded him in death. He married Sibyl E. Cranfield on July 5, 1986 in Bosque Farms, NM. She survives him at the home in Bosque Farms, NM. He is also survived by his sons, Thomas James Miller and his wife Dorothy of Castle Rock, CO, and Keith Vincent Miller and his wife Julia of Los Lunas, NM; daughters, Laura Lee Mills and her husband Marvin of Los Lunas, NM, Mary Lorene Reinhold and her husband Jerry of Los Lunas, NM, and Ruthann Vanda Miller of Los Lunas, NM; one step-daughter, Gale Lovell of Sacramento, CA; five grandchildren, Heather Carr, Amy Shaw, Levi Hinshaw, Eric Mills, and Brandy Jesse; three step-granddaughters; 11 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives. All that knew and loved Walter will miss him. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the harris-hanlon Chapel in Mountainair, NM. Interment will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery in Mountainair, NM. Pastors Doris Jaquess and Shirley Sweet will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Levi Hinshaw, Eric Mills, Patrick Shaw, Phillip Lovato, Virgil Proctor, and Ted Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Reinhold, Marvin Mills, Randy Lovell, and Allen Rhoades.
