Earl Arthur Moore

Earl Arthur Moore, 85, of Corona, NM, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2006 in Ruidoso, NM. Earl was born December 12, 1920 to Emery and Julia (Roth) Bucher in Sunbury, PA. Earl had been raised by his step-father, Edgar L. Moore, and took his last name. He married Lovella Akin on February 27, 1939 in Carlsbad, NM. Earl proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during World War II. Earl had worked as a firefighter at the Holliman Air Force Base until his retirement. He was a member of the American Legion. Earl is survived by his wife, Lovella of the home; a son, Richard Lee Moore and his wife Irene of Houston, TX; a daughter, Lola F. Kanady and her husband Frank of Weiser, ID; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Earl will be missed by all that knew and loved him. There will be a Graveside service for Earl on Monday, January 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Corona Cemetery in Corona, NM. Pastor Art Dunn will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Sam Seely, John Sisk, Ed Turner, Ricky Huey, Nicky Huey, and Micky Huey. There will be a lunch served at the Senior Center in Corona, NM following the service.
