Richard Chavez

Richard Chavez, 68, a lifelong resident of Wagon Wheel, went home to be with Jesus on December 12, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Frances Chavez, and sister Gloria Gibson. He is survived by his wife Gloria of 44½ years of the family home; son Richard Chavez and wife Carie of Albuquerque; daughter Juanita Winkler and husband Tim of Rio Rancho; daughter Linda See and husband James of Rio Rancho; daughter Angela Miles and husband Randall of Albuquerque; twelve grandchildren; and sister Grace Chavez and husband George Hern. Pallbearers will be Ashley Winkler, Ryan Winkler, Nick Chavez, Tommy Muller, Robert Burr and Frank Tapia. There will be a Rosary at 9:00AM followed by Mass at 10:00AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 with Rev. William Young officiating. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery.
