Merle Olive Wilfrid

Merle Olive Wilfrid, 87, of Tijeras, NM passed away on Monday, April 12, 2010. Merle was born in Pattersonville, PA on July 12, 1922 to John Elsworth and Anna Aaraine (Wolf) Laudeman. Merle has lived in Tijeras, NM for the past 10 years having previously lived in Linden, NJ. She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Merle was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Paul Wilfrid. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence P.and his wife June Wilfrid and Kenneth D. and his wife Patricia Wilfrid; daughters, Linda M. Green and her husband Peter, Lee A. Wilfrid and her husband Wayne Reeves, and Paula J. Roberts and her husband Andrew; brothers, Richard Laudeman and his wife Joan, John Laudeman, and Harlan Laudeman; sisters, Margaret Tarleckey, Mary McCauley and her husband Jack; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing for the public on Thursday evening, April 22, 2010 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Werson Funeral Home in Linden, NJ. The Funeral Service will be at Werson Funeral Home in Linden, NJ at 1:00pm on Friday, April 23, 2010. Burial will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth, NJ. Pallbearers will be Robert Stevens, Kyle Wilfrid, Matthew Wilfrid, Sean Stevens, Kale Reeves, Frank Wilfrid and Troy Reeves. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in your area.
