John A. Gonzales

John (Juan) A. Gonzales, went into the hands of our Lord on February 12, 2010 after a long battle with Parkinsons. John was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth and his son Estevan. He was born and raised on La Aguapa Ranch on March 8, 1920. He married Ruth Tafoya in 1941 and had ten children. Eventually he raised cattle and was the original thing, a cowboy. John was an extremely hard-working man. As a trucker, he worked for Albuquerque Gravel, JW Jones Construction, Henry Tiger & Son Construction, Wylie Brothers and was also self-employed. The rosary will be at 7:00P.M. on 2/15/10 at San Antonito Mission Church. The funeral mass will be at San Antonito Mission Church on 2/16/10 at 10:00A.M., with Father Granito presiding. He is survived by nine children including John Jr., wife Cecilia- Dolores Valencia, husband Patricio, Raymond, wife Sylvia, Virginia, Sal, wife Ramona, Kathye Trujillo, husband Willie, David, wife Susan, Charla and Lillian, 25 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
