Dennis Lee Murray

Dennis Lee Murray, 52, of Edgewood, NM passed on Monday, November 16, 2009 at his home. Dennis was born on May 16, 1957 in Albuquerque, NM to Jack Lee and Wanda G. (Mitchele) Murray. He married Diana Lee Zupko on March 5, 1977 in Albuquerque, NM. Dennis lived in Edgewood for the past fourteen years, having previously lived in North Carolina. Dennis was a member of the Methodist Church. He was a member of the Leather Guild, serving as president for two years. He was a Square Dance Caller for most of his life. He was a Boy Scout from 1965 to 1971 then became instructor warrant. And he was Staff Sergeant for the Marines for 20 years, including Desert Storm. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Jack Murray and mother, Wanda Murray. He is survived by his wife, Diana Murray; daughters, Christina Johnstad and her husband, Chris, and Holly Castillo and her husband, Julian; and grandchildren, Edward Sedillo, Topanga Sedillo, Diamond Sedillo and Emerald Sedillo. There will be a Memorial Service at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Monday, November 23, 2009 at 10:00AM with Preacher Roger Holm officiating. Internment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM at 1:00PM. Honorary Pallbearers will be Chris Johnstad, Edward Sedillo and Julian Castillo.
