Joan Mae Bell

Joan Mae Bell, 79, of Edgewood, NM passed away at her home on Friday, January 22, 2010. Joan was born August 8, 1930 in Escanaba, MI to George and Alva (Anderson) Hedsten. Joan lived in Edgewood, NM for the past six years coming from Albuquerque, NM. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, Jack Bell who passed away in 1980; and daughter, Cynthia Terlaje. She is survived by her sons, James Bell and his wife Kathleen of CA, Robert Bell and his wife Deborah of MD, David Bell and his wife Mary of Edgewood, Gerald Bell of Edgewood, Craig Bell and his wife Imelda of Edgewood and Daniel Bell of Edgewood; daughters, Carol Smith of ME, Jeanne Tidey of Los Lunas, and Andrea and her husband Robert Rowland of Edgewood; son-in-law, Ray Terlaje and his wife Janine of CO; sister, Marilyn LaMarche of CA; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. There will be a memorial service on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood, NM at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Phillip Spomer officiating.
