Frank Charles Davis

Frank Charles Davis passed away on June 26, 2010 in his home in Moriarty. Frank was born on August 26, 1928 to George Davis and Angelita Chavez Davis at the Davis ranch, northwest of Moriarty. Frank was preceded in death by his parents. He was a resident of Moriarty all of his life. He was the youngest of thirteen siblings. Bothers – Sylvester I, Sylvester II, Ascension, George, Charles and John. Sisters – Victoria D. de Sanchez, Isabel Davis, Josephine Rael, Guadalupe Fogleman, Rose McCourt and Pauline Davis. Frank had two sons – Calvin and Frank Jr., who passed away. He had four grandsons – Calvin Jr. and his wife Jodi, Brandon Boe, Colten Joseph and Jason Edward. Great grandchildren include Evan and Rihanna. He was previously married to Mary Alice, and had a sister-in-law Rita. Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was a building contractor and a school bus contractor for Moriarty Municipal Schools for many years. He was also a rancher. There will be a Rosary recited at 9:00am followed by the Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with Father William Young officiating. Interment will follow at Moriarty Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Davis, Basil Davis, Calvin Jr. Davis, Brandon Boe Davis, Colten Joseph Davis, and Jason Edward Davis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jim Satterfield, Marcos Chavez, Heather and Holly Andersen, Steven Pachta and Robert Lopez.
