Bobby Johnson

Bobby J. Johnson, 65, died on June 27, 2006. Bob was born on January 25, 1941 to Perry and Erie Johnson. Bob went home to be with the Lord after a brave fight with cancer. He was a very strong, outgoing, loving and caring man. He will be missed by his family and friends, but his wisdom will be carried on in the lesson he has shared. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Erie Johnson, and his sister, May and brothers Dick and Randall. Bob is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson; daughters Bobbie and Brandi Johnson of the family home; son, Bennie Johnson and wife Bobbie and granddaughter, Summer of Amarillo, Texas and daughter, Bari Gonce and grandchildren Dakota and Samantha Gonce of Hooker, Ok. He is also survived by brothers Harold and Arthur Johnson and sisters Ella Dawson and Eva Wilkinson of Texas and many nieces and nephews. Visitation and viewing will be Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 5-7 PM at the First Baptist Church in Edgewood, NM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 30, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church in Edgewood, NM. Interment at Mountainview Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be Chuck McCloughlin, Butch Adkins, Ed Nigh, Ernie Lacy, and Orlando Rios. In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up at Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Bob Johnson.
