Joanne R. Hiers

Joanne R. Hiers, 76, of Sandia Park, NM passed away at her home on Thursday, April 29, 2010. Joanne was born in Los Angles, CA on February 5, 1934 to Sam and Aldean Elizabeth (Eddy) Soranson. She lived in Sandia Park for the past 32 years. Joanne was proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Eldon C. Hiers, daughters Kathryn Rutan and Michel Rieder, two grandchildren, Morgan and Austin Reider and her sister, Ethel Morse. Joanne loved to fish, travel. Spend time cooking for family and taking care of her animals. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all the people whose life she touched.
