ER “Bud” Bagley, 83, of Corona, NM passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 in Mescalero, NM. Bud was born in Odessa, TX on June 30, 1926 to Richard Jennings and Lois (Murchison) Bagley. He married Dorothy Williams in Odessa, TX on May 17, 1947. Bud had lived in Corona for the past 64 years, having previously lived in Odessa. He was a life long rancher. He was a member of the NM Mounted Patrol, serving as Colonel and Chief for 53 years and on the Board of Supervisors of the Claunch-Pinto Soil and Water Conservation District for 50 plus years. Bud also served in the Navy during WWII. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Dorothy Bagley, who passed away in 1997 and Betty Bagley who passed away in 2004; son Richard Ray Bagley and his wife Ivy; brother Frank Bagley and daughter-in-law, Lee Bagley. He is survived by his son, Jim Bagley of Corona, NM; daughters Jannie Freeman and her husband Glen of Ruidoso, NM, and Donna Glover and her husband Frank of Melrose, NM; brother, George Bagley and his wife Pat of Dimmitt, TX; sister, Allene Sultemeier of Albuquerque, NM; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. There will be a viewing and visitation at the Corona High School Auditorium from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 24, 2010. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Corona High School Auditorium with Cal West officiating. A reception will follow the service at the Corona High School Recreation Room. Pallbearers will be Jim Bagley, Rick Bagley, Rocky Bagley, Drew Bagley, Cooper Glover, and Kole Glover. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of Bud’s friends and neighbors. Burial will follow at the Corona Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to:
