Lina R. Lopez, 53, of Stanley, NM passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM with her loving family beside her. Lina was born February 15, 1954 in Hobbs, NM to Benjamin G. and Cecilia (Rodriguez) Quiroz. Lina married Joe Gene Lopez on December 16, 1988 in Moriarty, NM. Lina is survived by her parents, Benjamin and Cecilia Quiroz of Lovington, NM; husband, Joe Lopez of Stanley, NM; daughters, Yvonne Pena of Arlington, TX; Victoria Lopez of Stanley, NM; Sarah Lopez of Stanley, NM; brothers, Ben Quiroz and wife Josie; Ismael Quiroz and wife Laura; Sammy Quiroz and wife Anna; Rudy Quiroz and wife Cyndi; sisters, Rachel Holt and husband Charlie; Terri Willis and husband Brad and one grandson, Seth Boydstun. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A Mass will be held Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM, Father William Young will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Stanley Cemetery in Stanley, NM. Pallbearers are Brad Willis, Sammy Quiroz, Ben Quiroz, Rudy Quiroz, Ismael Quiroz, Julian Lopez, Max Lopez and Lawrence Romero.
