Richard Dean Spangler, 64, of McIntosh, NM passed away Thursday, June 28, 2007 in Estancia, NM. Richard was born September 13, 1942 in Mountainair, NM to Jesse and Velma (McMath) Spangler. He was preceded in death by his parents. Richard is survived by his sons, Richard Dale Spangler of McIntosh, NM; Dennis Lee Spangler of Delta, CO; brother, James W. Spangler and wife Carol of Kirtland, NM; grandchildren, Wendy; Cody; Heather; Matthew and Sydney. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 2, 2007 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Estancia, NM, Eric Turner will be officiating. Internment will follow at the Estancia Cemetery in Estancia, NM. Pallbearers are Adam Aday, Johnny Aday, Mike Archibeque, Mike Akin, Danny Prather and Kelly Powell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Gunther, Darrell Winn, Richard Coburn, Donnie Pope, Bob Akin and JW Bitner.
