Frances D. Turner, 79, of Moriarty, NM passed away June 24, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM with her loving husband beside her. Frances was born August 7, 1927 in Mineral Wells, TX to Clint and Mina Mae (Muff) Flowers Myers. Frances grew up in Mineral Wells, TX and graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1942. Frances and her husband Bob Durham then moved to Artesia, NM where they lived for several years before moving to Moriarty, NM. Frances and Bob acted as branch managers for the Moriarty branch of the bank of Belen for many years before retiring in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Durham, her parents, sisters, Helen Jones; Clinta Mae Morris, brother-in-laws, Halley W. Jones; Robert V. Morris; nephews, Steven Morris; Gregory Morris and Mark Alan Myers. Frances is survived by her loving husband J.T. Turner; son, Mike Turner of Moriarty, NM; brother, Tom Myers and wife Judy of Mineral Wells, TX;daughter-in-law, Sue Turner; step-brothers, Lon Herrera; Richard Myers; Herb Myers all of New Mexico; Charles Herrera and wife of Maryland; nieces, Terry Aycock and husband Jim; Suzanne West and husband Bobby; grandchildren, Jeremiah Turner; Cara and Chad Curtiss; Jenna Turner; Jordan Turner; and great grandson, Trey Turner Montoya. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Bethel United Methodist Church in Moriarty, NM. David Terry and Pete Peterson will be officiating. Internment will be Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Stagg’s Prairie Cemetery in Mineral Wells, TX. Pallbearers are Chuck Meech, Jimmy Collier, Ragon Sandoval, RJ Sandoval, Larry Gallant, Carlos Maldonado, Matthew Connell and Steve Anaya. Honorary Pallbearers will be John Wheeler, Wayne Connell, Jerry Briton, Steve Jones, Jerry Teague, Mike Anaya and Jim Reagan.
