Mildred S Johnston

Mildred S. Johnston, 91, of Albuquerque, NM passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. Mildred was born September 3, 1915 to Fred and Mary (Betz) Saur in San Antonio, TX. Mildred married Ray Johnston on June 17, 1937 who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Ray Earl Johnston Jr. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was the first city clerk of Moriarty, NM. Mildred is survived by her son, Richard William Johnston and his wife Carlane of John Day Oregon; daughter, Nancy Tillery and her husband Hi of Moriarty, NM; daughter-in-law, Debra Johnston; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A viewing will be held Sunday, June 17, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 18, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM; Pete Peterson and Fred Ward will be officiating. Pallbearers are Keith Neel, Charlie Clark, Jerry Britton, Terry Johnston, Wayne Johnston and Jim Tillery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mott Henson, Lewis O’Neal, JT Tuner and Charles Bates.
