Pete J. Sedillo

Pete J. Sedillo, 65, of Estancia, NM passed away in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, July 20, 2010. Pete was born in Tajique, NM on August 20, 1944 to Manuel and Sofia (Sanchez) Sedillo Sr. Pete was a lifelong resident of Estancia, NM. He married Mary Rocha, his wife of 44 years, in Estancia, NM on June 18, 1966. They raised two sons, Jesse and Jacob. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Sofia Sedillo; three brothers, Julian Anaya, Manuel Sedillo Jr. and Tony Anaya; and two sisters, Loyola Herrera and Beatrice Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sedillo of Estancia, NM; sons, Jesse Sedillo and his wife Paula and Jacob Sedillo and his wife Victoria, all of Estancia, NM; sister, Connie Maestas Hermosillo of Albuquerque; four grandchildren, Noah Sedillo, Isaiah Sedillo, Matthew Sedillo and Sophia Sedillo. There will be a Rosary recited at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 7:00pm by Deacon Juan Lucero. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM with Fr. Mark Granito officiating. Pallbearers will be Noah Sedillo, Isaiah Sedillo, Matthew Sedillo, Joseph Luna, Philip Luna, Dale Garley, Solis Herrera, and Joe Garcia. Burial will follow at the Estancia Catholic Cemetery in Estancia, NM.
