Alice Eulelia Seth

Alice Eulelia Seth, 86, a long time resident of Moriarty passed away on August 25, 2007 in Albuquerque. Alice was born February 15, 1921, in Fort Worth, Texas to Alonzo and Zella Bates. Alice moved to Moriarty in 1972. She was a member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Moriarty. Alice will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Surviving Alice are sons; Lonnie and wife Carmen Stefan of Moriarty, NM, Jessie and wife Nancy Johnson of Marietta, GA, Jimmy and wife Diane Johnson of Arvada, CO, Jeri and wife Judie Johnson of Snoqualmie, WA, daughter; Sue Ann and husband Arthur Maynard of Los Lunas, NM, sister; Sue Shann of Fort Sumner, NM, brother in law; Luke Bergman of Capitan, NM, also; thirteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband; Frank Seth, sons; Donnie Franklin, Johnny and Jay Dee Johnson, sister; Durell Bergman and Alice’s companion of fifteen years; Hubert (Jack) Caraway. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Harris –Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty. Funeral Services will be at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty on at10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 after which Alice will be transported to the Fort Sumner Cemetery, for a 2:00 PM Committal Service and laid to rest next to her son, Jay Dee Johnson. Pastor Gary Eggart of the United Methodist Church of Estancia, NM, will be officiating in Moriarty and Minister Lorenzo Delgado will be officiating in Ft. Sumner at the cemetery.
