Curtis Dixon Gage

Curtis Dixon Gage, 86, of Carrizozo, NM passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in Las Cruces, NM. Curtis was born September 15, 1920 in AR to John and Amanda Gage. Curtis married Ethel Hargus in Tuscan, AZ on November 23, 1939. He was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers and sisters and daughter, Sue Smelcer. Curtis is survived by his wife Ethel Gage of Carrizozo, NM; daughters, Helen Hummel of CA; Hazel Guthrey of MO; Sharon Greenlaw of Carrizozo, NM; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and few great great grandchildren. He was a very kind and gentle man, making friends with everyone he met. He loved to talk about his past and the dairy work he had done. He loved his family and we all loved him. He will be very truly missed; God has taken another angel home. God Bless and we love you. A viewing will be held Monday, September 17, 2007 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Harvest Time Four Square Church in Roswell, NM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Harvest Time Four Square Church located at 409 W. 16th Street in Roswell, NM Pastor Jim Burdine will be officiating. Pallbearers are Joe M. Vega, Jason C. Greenlaw, Eddie Burns, Larry McClure, Justin Hendrix and Troy Hendrix. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery in Roswell, NM.
