Hayden P Abel

Hayden P. Abel, 88, of Edgewood, Nm passed away on August 11, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM at the Sierra Grande Manor Residential Shelter Care Home. Hayden was born in Orange County, Indiana on October 8, 1918. His wife Mary Moffatt Abel and son Kenneth Paul Abel preceded him in death. Hayden is survived by his daughter, Shirley Winkler and husband Harris of Edgewood, NM; two grandsons, Gary Winkler of Aurora, CO; Kevin Winkler of Pheasant Hill, CA; four great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Kerby; Charlotte Allen and brother, Roy Able. He was ordained as a Baptist Minister in 1962 and served as pastor of churches in Indiana, Idaho and California before retiring in 1980. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Olinger Chapel Hill Cemetery in Littleton; CO. Pallbearers are Gary Winkler, Chris Winkler, Sean Winkler and Harris Winkler. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
