Carol Ann Solsrud

Carol Ann Solsrud, 67, of Edgewood, NM passed into the Lord’s arms Friday, August 10, 2007. Carol blessed us on December 24, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to Harold and Kathren (Stecker) Zech. Carol is survived by her loving husband Marvin of 44 years; daughters, Wendy Solme and husband Joe of Albuquerque, NM Heidi Wooton of Edgewood, NM; Holly Solsrud of Albuquerque, NM; five grandchildren, Mark, Mat, Brandace, Joey, and Tyler. Her very best friend Cheryl Sizemore and husband David. We thank you, from the beginning to end, you helped her understand that heaven is warm and beautiful. Carol, just like the Arabian horse had such grace and beauty. She touched the lives of many people those people are her extended family of the Arabian Horse Association of NM. You are her family the love and respect you all showed her from the beginning to the end, words can not thank you all enough for your love and support Thank you Hospice of NM for the love, compassion and understanding you gave us. Mom you have left a legacy to us, a part of you lives on in all of us. You will be greatly missed we love you. She was preceded in death by her parents and her dog Freckles. A viewing will be held Monday, August 13, 2007 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM. Pastor Ken Good will be officiating. Pallbearers are Mathew McCoy, Mark McCoy, Joseph Solme, Tyler Solsrud, Tom Gunnels, Craig Lake and David Sizemore.
