Annie Perle Sumner

Annie “Budgie” Perle Sumner, 90, of Mountainair, NM passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Albuquerque, NM with her loving family beside her. Annie was born February 29, 1916 in Pebble, TX to Cleveland and Willie (Taylor) Griffin. She was a member of the Mountainair Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, B.F. Sumner; mother, Willie Ann (Taylor) Griffin; father, Cleveland Griffin; brothers, Clarence Griffin; B.E, Griffin; sister, Edna Robinson. Annie is survived by her loving son Michael and wife Vickie; granddaughter, Michelle; and countless nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Saturday, November 18, 2006 from noon to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Mountainair, NM. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Mountainair, NM Paul Gerritson will be officiating. A viewing will be held Monday, November 20, 2006 from noon to 1:00 PM at Grimes Funeral Chapel in Kerrville, TX. A Graveside Service will be held Monday, November 20, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Japonica Cemetery in Hunt. TX. Pallbearers are Rex Robinson, Darrel Robinson; Cleve Griffin, Yunk Griffin, Pete Griffin, Monty Oney, Glen Griffin and Grant Griffin.
