Kriston Anthony Pohl

Kriston A. Pohl, 25, of Moriarty, NM, passed away November 4, 2010. Kriston was born in Albuquerque, NM on July 11, 1985. He was a life- long resident of the Estancia Valley. He was preceded in death by his father, Cris Pohl, Grandfathers, Ronald E. Cates & Toney Pohl, and great-grand parents Moises and Virginia Pohl, and Helen and Hebb Daugherty. He is survived by his mother Tina J. Cates-Ortega and step-father Jonathan A. Ortega, his Grandmother Gloria Pohl, his brother Kevin Pohl, step sister Jacqueline G. Ortega, and step brother Jon-Anthony Ortega, his Uncle, Eric Pohl and Jerri Trujillo, and numerous Aunts and Uncles on his mother’s side, and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Eric Pohl, Gilbert Pohl, Paul Dillon, Mark Berg, Sam Shed and Rick Garcia. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gilbert Pohl Sr., Dino Cates, Kevin Pohl, Jacqueline G. Ortega, Jon-Anthony Ortega, and Devin Rae Byers. A rosary will be held at the Mount Carmel Catholic Church on 215 Girard, in Moriarty at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at the same location with Rev. Fr. Larry Merta officiating. Burial will follow at the Mount Carmel Cemetery . Reception will also be at the Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
