James Harold Groves

James Harold Groves, 67, of Moriarty, New Mexico passed away in Albuquerque, NM on August 28, 2010. James was born on July 17, 1943 in Grove City, PA to Harold James Stokes and Betty Jane Barton. He married Karen Gayle Roberts on December 10, 1994 in Mesa, AZ. He had lived in Moriarty since October of 2005 having previously lived in Roswell, NM and Mesa AZ. James was awarded the Viet Nam Army Purple Heart – Mason, VN missions were de-classified, just enough to put his plane in museum and award him the purple heart. James is survived by his wife, Karen Groves; twin ½ brother and sister; son, James Groves; daughters, Vickie Tomsish, LuAnne Groves, Stacie Birmingham, Nichole Kelly and Sarah Groves; and grandchildren, Rebecca Tomsich, Elizabeth Tomsich-Meikle, Anna Groves, Harry Groves, Huntor Ross, Brandon Lee Birmingham and Kaden Ross.
