Logan Thomas Plant

Logan Thomas Plant, 16, of Estancia, NM passed away in Estancia on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Logan was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 1, 1994 to Clinton Don and Melissa (Bennett) Plant. Logan had lived in Estancia for the past five years having previously lived in Mississippi. Logan enjoyed spending time with his best friend, his dad. They enjoyed fishing, playing video games and cherishing all their time spent together. Logan was a student at Estancia High School where he was on the football and baseball teams. Logan was preceded in death by his grandmother, June Bennett. He is survived by his parents, Melissa and Clinton Plant; sister, Lynsey Plant; grandparents, Gene and Ellen Sue Plant, all of Estancia; numerous aunts and uncles, cousins in Mississippi and New Mexico and many other friends. There will be a Memorial Vigil on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 5:30PM in the main gym at Arthur Park. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 1:00PM at the Estancia High School Main Gym. Pat Ness will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jesus Chirinos“Lali”, Arnulfo Venegas, Andrew Lucero, Juan Dominguez, Jared Modgling, and Javier Castillo “Harvey”. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond Plant, Leon Plant, Cody Plant, Carley Coburn, Cali Archibeque, Lindsey Elliot, Fabiola Esclante, Eric Newsom, Gabriel Sedillo, Jessie Lucero, and Angelique Sanchez. Burial will follow the funeral service at the Estancia Memorial Cemetery
