Ruby Mae Hill

Ruby Mae Hill, 97, of Moriarty, NM passed away on May 20, 2010. Ruby Mae was born in Quitman TX on January 28, 1913 to George Washington Chrietzberg and Araie Bulah Murdock. She married Doc Hill who preceded her in death in 1971. She was a resident of Moriarty since 1945 having previously lived in Cleberne, TX. Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moriarty. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a loving mother and caregiver to everyone. She cared for many and was loved by many. Ruby Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son, Michael Hill and daughter, Betty Jean Hill. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Cavasos of Moriarty, NM, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a viewing at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary on Friday, May 21, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00PM. The Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church in Moriarty, NM at 2:00PM on Saturday, May 22, 2010 with Pastor Tom Shanks and Brother Wood officiating. Lead Pallbearers will be Curtis Beach and A.J. Beach. Pallbearers will be Mike Turner, Nick Farley, Bill Richard, David Beach, Mac McCord and Berchie West. Honorary Pallbearers will be J.T. Turner, Mike Anaya, Sam King, Don King, Joe King, David King, Bill Pittman, and Gary Anderson. Burial will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, NM.
