Francisco Antonio Torres, 80, of Mountainair, NM passed away October 9, 2006 at his home in Mountainair, NM. Francisco was born April 18, 1926 in Abo, NM to Julian and Rosalea (Maldavdo) Torres. Francisco was a volunteer Stockton, CA. Emergency food bank for 13 years, guitar and keyboard musician. Member of St. Vincent De Paul, collector of model cars. Francisco was known for his live, humor, and his wonderful spirit. He was preceded in death by his parents. Francisco is survived by his wife, Margarita P. Torres; brother-in-law, Hinigo Lopez; sisters-in-law Ermelinda Torres; Lonicia Torres; nieces; great nieces; nephews; and great nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 13, 2006 at 7:00 PM at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Abo, NM. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at 10:00 AM at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Abo, NM. Internment will follow at San Lorenzo Catholic Church in Abo, NM. Pallbearers will be Richard Torres, Nane Torres, Anthony Sheppard, Michael Sheppard, Jesse Torres, Raymond Lopez, Eugene Lopez, and David Martinez Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Robert Sheppard, Mike Dew, Michael Torres, David Torres, Ted Ballejos, Reggie Sheppard, Patrick Lucero, Jimmy Burkeen, Christino Saiz and Augestine Saiz.
