Arturo G Ortiz

Arturo G. Ortiz, 85, of Edgewood, NM passed away September 9, 2006. Arturo was a very loving and outgoing man. He was loved by many people. He believed in keeping his family close and it is shown through the strong family ties he created. Arturo is survived by his wife, Maggie Ortiz; his children, Mary Lou Silva; Frank Ortiz; Arthur E. Jr. Ortiz and wife Sylvia; Leonard Ortiz; and Bernice Sanchez and husband Freddie; along with 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters Aurora Ortiz; Erlinda Boughter; Liz Sparks; Maggie Patterson and husband Pat; Josie Vallejos and husband Willie; Viola Aguirre; brother Domingo Ortiz and wife Agustina. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Jerry Ortiz; sister Conrada Encinas; and granddaughter Annette Apodaca. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 8:00-9:20 am at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM casket will not be opened at church day of the mass. A Rosary will be recited on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church in Edgewood, NM. Funeral Services will follow on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at 10:00 AM Father William Young will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Daniel Baldonado, Manuel Baldonado, Steve Ortiz, Jimmy Ortiz, Joseph Ortiz, Joseph Sanchez and Steve Trujillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be his granddaughters. Internment will follow at Mt. Carmel Catholic in Moriarty, NM. Arrangements entrusted to
