Grant Warren Pierson

Grant Warren Pierson, 59, passed away at his home in Edgewood, NM on Saturday, May 16, 2009. Grant was born on May 30, 1949 in Lawrence, KS to George Raymond and Bessie Winifred (Ingham) Pierson. He lived in Edgewood for six years coming from Tijeras, NM, before that from Albuquerque, NM. He attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He was the President of his Freshman Class and of the Alpha Phi Gamma Social Organization at Central Methodist College. Grant was a War Veteran of the Vietnam and Desert Storm conflicts. He was a Medical Technologist in the United States Air Force and for the Veterans Administration Hospital. Grant is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn (Davis) Pierson; sons, Mathew Warren Pierson and his wife Susan Renee Renick, Christopher Grant Pierson, and Benjamin Miles Pierson and his wife Amanda Montano Pierson; brother, George Leslie Pierson; sister, Suzanne Winnifred Pierson; grandchildren, Tyler Mathew Pierson, Hannah Elizabeth Renick, Shaun Michael Montano, and Liam Joseph Pierson. There will be a memorial service at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Edgewood on Thursday, May 21, 2009 at 11:00AM with Pastor Philip Spomer officiating.
