Sarah Anglin

Sarah Emmaline Anglin, 82, a long-time resident of Mountainair, NM passed away February 11, 2007 in Belen, NM. Sarah was born May 1, 1924 in Flora Vista, NM to Gus and Susie Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, two brothers, daughter Catherine Riley, grandsons Kenneth Riley and Wesley Stephens, granddaughter Tina Thomas, and great granddaughter Shiann Riley. Sarah moved to Mountainair with her family in 1937 where she attended Center Point School and Mountainair High School. She married J.W. Anglin on June 29, 1940. The couple raised their family of seven south of Mountainair. She loved her family, the outdoors and fishing. Sarah is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years J.W.; brothers, Vance of Las Cruses, NM; Johnny and wife Jeannie of Cuchillo; Dennis and wife Kathy of Mountainair, NM; daughters, Quinna and husband John Larry Stephens of Los Chavez; Donna and husband Mike Patterson of Edgewood, NM; Marion and husband Ivan Riley of Mountainair, NM; and son-in-law Chester Riley of Mountainair, NM; twenty two grandchildren; fifty two great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. Public viewings will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 from 2:00 PM-6:00 PM and Wednesday, February 14, 2007 from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM all at the Assembly of God Campgrounds in Mountainair, NM. Funeral Services are Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Assembly of God Campgrounds in Mountainair, NM; Bill Sullenger and Doris Jaquess will be officiating. Pallbearers are grandsons, Larry Stephens, Mike Thomas, Randy Riley, Leland Riley, Frank Riley, Bruce Anglin. Kevin Anglin and Jody Anglin.
