Roy Eldon Williams Jr., 64, of Moriarty, NM passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at his home in Moriarty, NM. Roy was born November 24, 1942 in Albuquerque, NM to Roy Eldon and Mary Jane (Winn) Williams Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jon Boles Williams. Roy is survived by his sons, Joe “Pete” Williams of Moriarty, NM; Roy Eldon Williams III of Moriarty, NM; Jay “Travis” Williams of Moriarty, NM; daughters, Janie and husband John Murray of Tucumcari, NM; Rhietta Beatty of Farmington, NM; brother, Joe Tim Williams of Deming, NM; sister, Nixie Jane and husband Phil Clark of Estancia, NM; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Moriarty, NM. Pastor Tom Schenk will be officiating. Internment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers are Richard Saavedra, Leroy Griego, Gary Manford, Dennis Chavez, Jesus Hernandez, Phil Clark, Derek Clark and Madison Clark. Honorary Pallbearer will be Larry Nelson.
