Mary Abel

Mary I. Abel, 91, of Edgewood, NM passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM with her loving family beside her. Mary was born February 18, 1916 in Hoopston, IL to Joseph and Laura (Allen) Moffatt. She married Hayden P. Abel August 8, 1935 in Orange CO, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Paul Abel; sisters, Geneva Nelson; Marie Grigsby; Betty Miller; Norma Jean Bell; and brother, Raymond Moffatt. Mary is survived by her loving husband, Hayden Abel; daughter, Shirley and husband Harris Winkler of Edgewood, NM; brother, Charles Moffatt; sisters, Maxine Chumbly; Josephine Heln; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, February 22, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Littleton. CO. Pastor Dennis Gorton of Galilee Baptist Church in Denver, CO will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Winkler, Chris Winkler, Sean Winkler and Harris Winkler.
