Peggy Jean Wallin

Peggy Jean Wallin, 82, of Moriarty, NM formerly of Silver City, NM passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2009 at her home with her family at her side. Peggy was born on July 4, 1927 in Swartz, Louisiana to Louis and Edna (Bennett) Powell. Peggy married Gayland Wallin on January 23, 1945. She lived in Silver City, NM until the family moved to Moriarty, NM in 1982. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband. She is survived by five sons: Nick and his wife, Debi, Dennis and his wife, Marcie, Kenneth and his wife Cherie, Don and his wife, Susan, and Scott and his wife Laura; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM on Friday, September 18, 2009 at 10:00AM with Brother Robert Hunt officiating.
