Eugene Edward Sedler

Eugene E. Sedler “George” passed away at the age of 70, in Albuquerque, NM on May 9, 2009. Gene was born May 10, 1938 in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. Gene served his country proudly as a member of the US Air Force as a young man. After six years of dedicated service he started working for TRW in Redondo Beach, CA. In 1979 Gene and his family moved to Las Cruces NM where he became the Deputy Site Manager for the TDRSS satellite program. He exemplified hard work and core values. Gene’s dedication to his family was unprecedented. He will be remembered for his outrageous sense of humor and love for animals. He will be greatly missed. Gene is survived by his wife, Diane Sedler, of 47 years; sons, Edward, and Anthony and his wife to be, Amy Fangio; daughter, Teresa and her husband, Scott, and their daughters, Ashton and Rheanne; brother, Ken and his wife, Shirley, and their children, Lee and his wife Laura, Brent and his wife Susy; sisters, Sara and her husband Doug, Rowena and her husband, Doug, and their children, Gary, Ann and Craig. Services will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 11:00AM at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kaseman Hospice, Albuquerque, NM or New Mexico Cancer Center at 4901 Lang Ave NE, Albuquerque, NM.
