James "Jim" Walter Foster

James “Jim” Walter Foster, 74, passed away on January 19, 2018 in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was born on January 6, 1944 in Seattle, Washington to the late Walter and Emily (Taber) Foster. Jim served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Lavina Anaya as well as some brothers and sisters. Jim is survived by his sons, Estevan Foster and wife Denise of Phoenix, AZ, Eric Foster of Salida, CO and Allan Foster of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Sheila Carroll of Edgewood, NM and sisters, Ellen and Patsy. Jim was blessed with 9 grandchildren. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 A.M. and the Celebration of Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. Father Lancaster will Officiate. Pallbearers will be AJ Foster, Jessy Manzer, Jeromy Manzer, Art Butler, Michael Anthony Kelly and John Pearcy. Interment will be at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM.
