Sharon Holcom-Haley, 49, passed away on October 20, 2017. She was born on October 5, 1968 to the late Joseph and Marta (Albertson) Diemert in Ada, OK. Sharon has lived in New Mexico for 15 years and will be deeply missed. Sharon recently graduated from CTU with her bachelor's degree in Criminal Science. Sharon loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of the small farm she had accumulated over the past few years. You could frequently find her outside tending to her chickens, goats, ducks, pigs, and dogs. She loved cooking and baking, arts and crafts and especially going out of her way to help others. Sharon was the light in many lives. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Carla Webster and brother, Carl Mills Jr. Sharon is survived by her husband, William “David” Haley III of Edgewood, NM; step son, David Haley of Edgewood, NM; daughters, Amanda Gray of CO, Kayla Gray of McIntosh, NM and Ashley Mills of Edgewood, NM; step daughters, Crystal Stefan and husband Lawrence of Moriarty, NM and Suzanna Strite and husband Marvin of McIntosh, NM; brother, William Mills and wife Sonja of TN and sisters, Carol Mills, Margurite Rios and husband Frank, Beth Gonzales, Debra Stueve and husband Ron and Mary Mills. Sharon was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico.
