Lonnie E. Stefan

Lonnie E. Stefan, 79, passed away on August 14, 2017 in Moriarty, New Mexico. He was born on October 10, 1937 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to the late Samuel Franklin and Alice Bates. Lonnie is also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Carmen Stefan. He is survived by his sons, Lonnie Stefan Jr. and wife Debbie of Wrightwood, CA and Larry Stefan and girlfriend Crystal of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Christy E. Hollis of AZ; sister, Sue Ann Maynard and stepbrothers, Jerri-Paul Johnson, Jimmy Johnson, and Jessie Johnson. Lonnie was blessed with 5 grandchildren, Jeffrey Kanney, Lorenz Stefan, Janelle Hollis, Lawrence Stefan Jr. and A.J. Hollis. Along with many very special in-laws, nephews, and nieces, cousins and many friends and co-workers. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. with the Celebration of Mass to follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers will be his son's Longene and Larry Stefan.
