Rosie “Dede” Mary Carrillo, 61, passed away on July 30, 2017 in Mountainair, New Mexico. She was born on August 15, 1955 in Mountainair, NM to the late Pedro and Senaida Carrillo. Rosie was known as the family bus driver, always making sure all the children were dropped off and picked up from school as well as attending all their sporting events. Family was her number 1 priority and took great pride in every single one of them. She was very involved in her community and was loved by all. The Dallas Cowboys and the Oklahoma Sooners will now be missing one of their most loyal fans. Her family, friends and the entire Mountainair Community will miss her. She is also preceded in death by her sister, Susan Carrillo. Rosie is survived by her sisters, Juanita Carrillo of the home and Anita Nieto of Mountainair; niece, Roxanne and Joeray Ortiz; nephews, Valentin Nieto and wife Jennifer and Peter Nieto as well as several other nieces, nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews, 2 great-great nephews and 1 great-great niece. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at the Mountainair Christian Center. Pastors Doris Jacques and Shirley Sweat will officiate. Interment will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery where Rosie will be laid to rest between her sister and mother. Pallbearers will be her niece Roxanne Ortiz and nephews Valentin Nieto and Peter Nieto.
