Juanita Andrea Lucero

Juanita Andrea Lucero, 91, passed away on July 9, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1926 in Pino Wells, New Mexico. Juanita was a lifetime resident of New Mexico and a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, NM. She is preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Josephita (Sedillo) Sanchez; husband, Jose Lucero; son, Alfonso Lucero Jr. and great-grandson, Easton Sanchez. Juanita is survived by her son, David and Tina Lucero of McIntosh, NM; daughters, Gloria and Joe Torres of Albuquerque, NM, Maria and Pete Barela of Estancia, NM, Carmen Sanchez and Johnny Benavidez of Socorro, NM, Virginia Sedillo of Albuquerque, NM, Teresa and Ronald Wallace of Alamogordo, NM, Joane Sanders and Paul Saiz of Estancia, NM, Isabel Lucero of Estancia, NM, Dolores and Glen Hollingsworth of Albuquerque, NM, Esther and Jerry Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM, Sylvia Lucero and Steve Chavez of Tijeras, NM and Sandra Lucero of Estancia, NM and brother Matt Lawrence Sanchez. Juanita was blessed with 29 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Estancia, New Mexico. The Rosary will be recited on Thursday July 13, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. The Celebration of Mass will be on Friday July 14, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Estancia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Curtis Barela, Randy Sanchez, Jeremiah Sanders, Alex Wallace, Felton Schlesener and Steven Lucero.
