Marquita Consuelo Avila

Marquita Consuelo Avila 68, passed away on July 5, 2017 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born on May 5, 1949 in Santa Fe, NM to the late Frederico and Sylvianita (Vigil) Martinez Sr. Marquita was a longtime resident of Moriarty and a member of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Raul Avila Sr., daughter Ines Avila and sister Dolores Williams. Marquita is survived by her sons Raul Avila Jr. and wife Jaime of Moriarty, NM; Miguel Avila and fiancé Jeanette Mikusak of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Frances Gonzales of Albuquerque, NM; brother, Frederico Martinez Jr. and wife Louisa of Rio Rancho, NM; sisters, Cordillia Clark and husband George of Moriarty, NM; Ramona Chavez of Moriarty, NM and Luella Camacho of VA. Marquita was blessed with 13 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. The Celebration of Mass will be on Wednesday July 12, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luciano Sanchez, Jose Avila, Mauro Avila, Preston McGee, Donovan McGee and Bernado Nunez. Honorary Pall Bearer Antonio Sanchez.
