Ted Wendel King Sr.

Ted Wendel King Sr., 81, passed away on June 2, 2017 in Edgewood, New Mexico. He was born on October 18, 1935 in Roswell, NM to the late Albert and Bertha (Baker) King Sr.. Ted was a longtime resident of New Mexico, a member of the American Legion Post 49 and a member of the Edgewood Senior Center. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria E. King; son, Terry G. King as well as several brothers and sisters. Ted is survived by his sons, Ted W. King Jr and wife Tammy of MO, Randy W. King and wife Jane of Las Vegas, NV and Keith W. King and wife Lisa of Los Lunas, NM; daughters, Monica Ruiz of Albuquerque, NM and Mildred King of Moriarty, NM; brother, Albert Sydney King Jr and sisters, Edith Hornbaker and Jennie Kyzmeka. Ted was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A Viewing is scheduled for Saturday June 10, 2017 from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. A Graveside service will be held at the Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM at 2:00 P.M. Ted King Jr. will Officiate. Pallbearers will be Paul Manzer, Teddy Stebbens, Toby King, Kyle King, Danny King, Keith King Jr. and Melissa King.
