Martin “Marty” Eloy Lovato, 73, passed away on October 3, 2016. He was born on October 1, 1943 to the late Felipe and Maria (Padilla) Lovato in Abo, New Mexico. Marty was an electrician in the United States Air Force and worked for Four Corners Power Company as a Journeyman. Later in life he did many things which include being a Heavy Equipment Operator, County Grader Operator and a Propane Service Agent. Marty will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Lou Anderson. Marty is survived by his sons, Martin E. Lovato Jr. of Tampa, FL, A.J. Lovato (Maria Elena) of Rincon, NM and David Lovato (Irene) of Evans, CO; daughters, Marla Lovato (Don Harvey) of Mountainair, NM, Barbara Kitts (Jeff Kitts) of Las Vegas, NV, Christine Chavez (Sam Chavez) of Belen, NM, Debra Lovato of Mountainair, NM, Patsy Wilson (Brian Wilson) of Albuquerque, NM, Berna Lovato of Belen, NM and brother, Felipe Lovato Jr. (Vickie) of Mountainair, NM. Marty was blessed with 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. A Rosary is to be recited on Saturday October 8, 2016 at 9:00 A.M. at the St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. The Celebration of Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. with Father Bob Peccatiello Officiating. Interment will be at the San Lorenzo Catholic Cemetery in Abo, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be Matthew Lovato, Patrick Riley, Porter Riley, Stormy Lovato, Gerard Lopez and Martin E. Lovato III. Honorary Pallbearers will be Samson Chavez, Vicente Lopez, Justin Lopez, Deizel Lovato, David Lovato Jr. and DeAndre Daffin.
