Teresita Bernal

Teresita Bernal, 96, entered the Gates of Heaven on July 28, 2016 in Belen, New Mexico. She was born on November 10, 1919 in Manzano, NM to the late Andres and Aurelia (Chavez) Jaramillo. Teresita was a lifetime resident of New Mexico, a member of the St. Alice Catholic Church as well as the St. Jude Prayer Group and Hospital. Theresita loved her chickens and the great outdoors, she loved her family she was loving, sweet, and courageous very hard working, She was so much more to those who knew her. We loved her so much and we will truly miss her with each sunrise that rises.Teresita is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank R. Bernal; daughter, Ermalinda Bernal; son, Edward Bernal; great grandson, Kevin Revak as well as two brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her son, William Bernal of Punta De Agua, NM; daughters and son in law, Eloise and Victor Pineda and Betty Bernal all of Punta De Agua, NM and sister and brother in law, Juanita and Tino Martinez of Jarales, NM. Teresita was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday August 2, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Punta De Agua, NM. The Celebration of Mass will follow at 1:00 P.M. Father Bob Peccatiello will officiate. Interment will be at the Punta De Agua Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ronald Gutierrez, Michael Gonzales Jr., Nicholas Romero, Noah Plog, Alejandro Diaz and Robert Jaramillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Floyd Jaramillo and Michael Gonzales Sr. With special thanks to all who cared for her throughout her journey.
