John Harry Lent

John Harry Lent, 73, passed away on May 30, 2016 in Edgewood, New Mexico. He was born on November 17, 1942 in Danbury, Connecticut to the late Harry and Anna (Openkun) Lent. John served his country proudly in the United States Army and on April 14, 1984 he married his soul mate, Mary L. Gardner in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was very passionate about science and technology as well as boating. Another favorite pastime of his was amateur radio. John and Mary have lived in Edgewood, NM since 1985. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. John is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Lent of Edgewood, NM; sons, Jason (Lindy) Lent of Denver, CO and Jeffrey (Andrea) Lent of Austin, TX; step children, Michele (Chris) Rubenstrunk of Mesa, AZ, Laurie (Dwight) McLellan of Gilbert, AZ and Jeffery (Lorena) Terry of Tempe, AZ and sister, Elaine (Ed) Whitlock of Lincoln, NH.
